Industrial Production Manager
Allstaff is partnering with a well-established and highly successful manufacturing firm to find the right Industrial Production Manager to help the company continue to grow and expand their business.
This position is in the Majestic heart of the White Mountains Lakes Region and comes with excellent benefit package upon hire.
The Industrial Production Manager will set and maintain priorities, vision, leadership, manage and direct production activities within all production areas of the organization. Coordinates the production of products, ensures machines and equipment are in the good condition and running smoothly and manages all employees on production line.
Develop Master Production schedules, manage capacity planning, including creation and evaluation of capital investment projects, monitor supplier selection, working with supplier to increase quality of tooling, machines, and processes. Identifies cost reduction, track and communicate KPIs, coordination of all departments and production process, ensure products are created on time and quality specifications, analyze, and reduce costs. Responsible for all machines and calibration, troubleshoot problems on production line and monitor product standards.
Strong Leadership skills:
Implement training/cross-training programs for maximum production flexibility, hire, train, and supervise new employees, team building, time and attendance, employee reviews, implement quality control programs, communication with financial departments on budget and spending plan, excellent communication skills, computer skills, and compliance with workplace safety programs.
BA in Business or Engineering, 5 – 10 years’ experience as a production manager, Strong Leadership Skills, excellent communication skills, strong management skills and the proven ablity to implement manufacturing “Best Practices” such as Lean Manufacturing, etc.
